It’s the happiest…

Season of all. Not because it’s Christmas or cheer or holiday fun. Uh, no. It’s because I GET TO WRAP PRESENTS! I love to wrap gifts in different papers, fabrics, containers with bows and ribbons and fun stuff. Phew, what a sentence. I buy gifts just so I can wrap them up and give them to people. The expression on their face when they are handed an uberly well wrapped package is all I need in life.
Honestly, if I could, I’d have a store just about wrapping stuff and call it All Wrapped Up!. Now, I realize that my present day job is uber-serious and I have to be on professional behavior from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm but in the deepest recesses of my body I am a gift wrapper. There should be a charity to help people out with my type of addiction.
Now, every Christmas I have a different present theme. This year it’s a bit rustic with a modern twist. The colors are soft blues, browns with a hint of silver. I typically get my papers from Target because they carry great quality paper at a low cost with a lot of complimentary accessories. Gosh, I feel like I’m discussing an outfit for a gift but then, I guess I am. Unfortunately, living away from most of my family, I don’t get to wrap a lot of gifts since I tend to order online. If I do find an item in the store, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll ship it wrapped. Now, ummmmmmm my addiction calls!

Me too! I keep thinking ‘How can I get paid for doing what I like?’ I haven’t come up with an answer yet.
My ONLY problem with wrapping gifts is the long periods of sitting on the floor and then my back hurts. Maybe if I moved the party up to a table it wouldn’t be so bad.

OH my…I cannot stand wrapping presents. I detest it. I love looking at gorgeously wrapped presents and long to have mine be like that, but it just doesn’t happen. I am not wrapping gifted at all.

I used to work at Estee’ Lauder and we offered complimentary gift wrapping at Christmas time. I loved it. I was really good at it and it made the time go by faster.
