What were you doing 10 years ago?

Ten years ago, I would’ve just graduated from High School and was spending my summer days developing photos for a grocery story about two blocks from my house. This job was the center of a lot of contention between my sister and I, because she left college, gave away all her worldly belongings – including the car my parents gave her, and went off to save the whole state of California. Anyway, after my father had to go rescue her, she felt that my parents should just give her everything all over again. Yeah, that didn’t happen. But, since there was a grocery store opening within walking distance, she should apply. She didn’t apply until after I went up there and had applied. I got the job and she didn’t. Anywho. I was developing photos of a lot of family vacations, a few parties and sometimes people’s naughty bits which I DID NOT want to see!

What were you doing 1 year ago?

I was living in Memphis, Tennessee working my booty off to get a major project completed that focused on more money than I’ll make in my life time. We’re talking money up there with Oprah. Yeah, a little pressure. But, I loved that job. At the same time, I was being asked by a wonderful man to think about moving to be closer to him. And, even though I loved my job and my friends in Memphis, he came first.

Five snacks you enjoy:

1. Beef Jerky – It’s a weird obsessive addiction, but it’s helping with the weight loss despite the gajillion milligrams of sodium.

2. Cheese – Almost any kind. Even the stinky kind. I’ll munch on it.

3. 100 Calorie Pack Hostess Cupcakes – from the fridge please.

4. Homemade pita chips with hummus

5. Skinny Cow anything – Ice cream cones, ice cream sandwiches, etc.

Five things you would do if you were a millionaire:

1. All debts gone.

2. Buy my parents a couple of Mercedes and give them cash. Buy my sister, brother-in-law and cute nephew a house and a new car. Pay for my brother’s college and he, of course, gets a new car.

3. B and I get new cars. See a pattern? Also, a house. WITH A KITCHEN!

4. Start a charity. Probably one that helps people with Basal Cell Carcinoma and one that deals with people who have back disabilities.

5. Get my PhD or JD or both.

Five bad habits:

1. Playing with my eyelashes. Weird but true. I love the way that they feel.

2. Biting my finger nails

3. Farting – it’s all the damn fiber you eat when you’re on Weight Watchers

4. Relying too much on the cleaning lady. You should see the amount of dishes that I produce the day before she gets there. But, I pay her to clean them!

5. Checking my face for zits. I hate those things and they need to nixed as soon as they are discovered.

Five things you like doing:

1. Spending time with B

2. Singing – I use to sing at weddings when I was in college.

3. Poker – Texas Hold’em

4. Cooking for B. I can’t wait to have a larger kitchen so I can bake. Only having 48 sq inches of usable surface is hard.

5. Blogging and reading blogs.

Five things you would never wear again:

1. Stirrup pants

2. Scrunchies

3. Head bands – THEY HURT!

4. Jelly shoes

5. Blue eye shadow – so wrong for me!

Five favorite toys:

Hahaha you mean my collection of electronic gadgets

1. My computer. I’ve got 2.5 gigs of RAM, 256 Video Card and almost a 1/3 of terabyte of memory. It doesn’t compare to the beast that B made though.

2. My iPod. I need it for traveling and while at work because it’s so dang quiet.

3. The Wii. OMG. I’ve never been so in love with a console system. It’s the only way I workout.

4. My personal cell phone. Because I carry two I have to specify. It’s getting upgraded this year, to what…we’ll see.

5. My car with the Sirius satellite radio. Yes, I do need almost 200 stations to listen to while commuting five minutes from home to work.
